Terms of Trade
Details, details, details...
We are governed, and you are protected by, the Australian Consumer Law. All sales are processed and bound under the Fair Trading legislation and the jurisdiction of the state of New South Wales.
Plant Condition – plants are a living thing, and are subject to stress when grown in non-ideal conditions. Your plant stocks are sent in a semi-dried state with minimal soil to reduce potential rotting in transit, so they arrive to you in the best possible condition. Upon receipt, we recommend you open your parcels and plant out as quickly as possible.
Plant Colouration – every effort is made to send you plant stock that matches any images we publish. If we are not happy with the plant stock condition or appearance and it cannot be substituted, then we will contact you to discuss. Some species will change their colour depending on the amount of light (sunlight, shade and UV), water, moisture and temperature. These are considered to be acceptable variations over time, and we cannot be responsible for the growing conditions in your location or micro-climate.
State Bio-security Restrictions
Some Australian states impose restrictions on what plant stocks can be sent between borders to protect the local bio-security and livelihood of the agricultural industry. Please be aware that currently WA, SA, NT and TAS do not allow the movement of mail-order plants across their border. If you have a relevant permit that allows us to send to these states, please contact us with the permit details and your order.
Postage is managed by the Australia Post network. You may elect to add additional postage services to your order, and we would recommend upgrading to Express Post if you are purchasing plant stock so they arrive to you earlier than regular post. This is even more important with the current workloads experienced by Australia Post and the COVID-19 implications that has on their logistics time frames. Please remember that our Arrangements cannot be posted due to their fragile nature.
Where goods are taken to your local post office or their agency if you they were unable to be delivered, we cannot be liable for any extended period of time your plants are packaged if you do not collect them in a timely manner. If you parcel shows external damage, please bring this to the immediate attention of the Australia Post delivery person or their counter staff. We ensure that all parcels from us are free from damage.
All orders are picked and despatched on Monday to ensure they arrive to you by the end of the week, depending on your selected postage and delivery address. Please refer to Australia Post for their typical delivery timeframes. Where Monday is a NSW public holiday, orders will be despatched the following business day.
Due to site access restrictions at our location, pick-ups are limited to set times. If this is not suitable to you, please contact us to discuss an alternate scenario.
Payment of Goods
All orders are to be paid for prior to despatch.
Goods & Services Tax (GST)
All prices are inclusive of GST. The GST amount collected will be itemised on your invoice.
If you are unhappy with the condition of your order, please contact us immediately upon arrival.
Where parcels have been received with visible external damage, please contact your local Australia Post outlet and us. Plant stocks are quite resilient to parcel damage and may still be fit for purpose. Pots that have been damaged by parcel damage need to be bought to our attention for replacement or refund requests.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind purposes.
Once your order is packaged and ready for despatch we cannot cancel your order.

If you feel an error has been made on our website, or it seems confusing, difficult to use, or is just wrong, please contact us with the relevant detail so we can address the issue. Every effort is made to provide accurate and timely information relating to our products, processing and delivery timeframes.
